A successful crowdfund with Shill Team 6
In this testimonial, we welcome DabsGalore who discusses what his experience was like setting up a crowdfunding campaign using JumpStart, some details about his campaign and whether his raise was successful.
Hey Dabs, please introduce yourself.
Greetings everyone! Many of you in the community know me as DabsGalore. I got into Bitcoin in the rally of 2018, and like many “investors”, I bought the top. At the time I was sold on the idea of getting rich overnight, as that’s all everyone really said about it. I watched Bitcoin go from $15,000 to $3,500 in a year! Because of that, I was forced to learn about the technology side of Bitcoin. I immediately fell in love and went all in with my money — 99.99% of all my money was tied to the blockchain sector.
I invested all my time and resources and in 2020 I took a dab at trading. I took courses and spent hours upon hours researching trading patterns, terms, and trading psychology. I started my journey with .05 BTC (valued at $500) and within a few months got the balance to one full Bitcoin. I sold it and purchased my home. I then began learning about DeFi and met most of my team members.
Today, I’m an OG at Gangster Finance and part of the admin team for SideKick Finance, where I help onboard investors from web 2.0 to web 3.0.
That’s a really interesting overview of how you got into crypto and it’s amazing that you bought your house with your successful trades!
Can you give us an overview of the campaign you raised funds for on JumpStart?
Yeah, so Stacking Stats was a concept I created to help my Telegram/Discord community out with the traits I picked up along the way. I made it private and cheap so most of my friends and family could get into this opportunity. My family is from El Salvador, the smallest country in Central America. On average a family earns $8 a day so I’m able to understand the value of money from that perspective.
My campaigns are about passive income that can help change people’s lives.
So you wanted to share all of your trading knowledge with your community so they could also benefit! Can you explain how your JumpStart campaign helped in achieving that?
I started a community focused on making safe money through the space in DeFi. Before this, I was trading Bitcoin and had begun learning about this new term “Defi” that was taking the space to new levels.
After a few years of taking a break from trading, I decided to give it a go again, however this time I wanted to be able to make my profit accessible to friends and family through the power of NFTs. I started a private campaign to raise money for a trading portfolio. I made one NFT tier and sold 500 NFTs for $50 BUSD each. It was extremely important to make this affordable because I started this with the concept to make money together! The NFT entitles you to 50% of the trade, per trade. Everyone who got an NFT got a year of my premium discord channel, and those who hold 10 get lifetime access.
You said you’re part of the SideKick admin team, is this where you found out about JumpStart?
Yes, I found out about JumpStart early, before its development, when it was still a concept. I knew this was the next direction DeFi needed to head so I was super excited and knew I wanted to get involved!
What made you choose JumpStart for your crowdfunding campaign?
First and foremost I loved the NFT technology behind it. Then you combine the power of crowdfunding and I knew that it would become a hub for my community.
How did you find setting up your campaign/your experience with the interface?
Setting up was a fun and simple experience. There was a learning curve at first but the Developer, Cozz, made it easy to understand, especially as he offers 1–1 meetings to go through everything. The team was also super helpful with any questions I had.
How did your campaign go? Were you happy with the results?
Shill Team 6 really showed out! We reached 32% within the first two days and as of today’s date (Feb 2023), all 500 NFTS have been sold!
I’d actually really like to say a big thank you to all my contributors, it’s an honor that you have so much faith in me. It was the first campaign on JumpStart to reach 100% funding and we owe it all to our Shillers!

Absolutely, NFTs with utility are the way of the future. This reminds me of when DeFi came to Ethereum for the first time.
