What is SideKick JumpStart?

A new way for you to raise funds for your business, SideKick’s JumpStart is an NFT crowdfunding dapp based around NFT utility.

JumpStart is a decentralized funding platform that helps creatives, entrepreneurs and community builders get their ideas funded with the top most stable cryptocurrencies, by offering NFTs with perks and rewards to contributors. Anyone with a blockchain-enabled web browser (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, TokenPocket) can access the site!

How does Jumpstart work?

Offering creative perks and a unique NFT allows creatives and teams to stay in touch with their most loyal contributors and community members. Campaign owners can even integrate their NFTs into future projects, like in-game items for a video game or access to a musician’s concert.

Any creator can visit the JumpStart site and access our easy-to-use interface and create an engaging campaign detailing their product or idea. The campaign owner then creates NFT tiers that offer different price contributions and accompanying perks. These tiers are actual NFTs built on the blockchain and for each NFT minted to a contributor, a unique NFT is sent.

The creator sets a funding goal and can create a private or public campaign. Once the creator pays the network fee, the campaign is created along with smart contracts for the blockchain. Contributors can then come to the JumpStart site and view all live and ongoing campaigns and decide which ones to invest in.

For JumpStart contributors, they choose which project they want to contribute to, navigate to the campaign page, approve the tier they would like and mint that specific NFT tier. If the project reaches its funding goal, the money will be released to the project creator. If the campaign does not reach its funding goal, the funds are released back to contributors. With our funding cap mechanism, there is zero risk to the contributor if a project does not reach its goal. Thanks to smart contracts, funds will automatically be released and claimable by contributors.

Is it easy to set up a fundraising campaign?

You can compare setting up your fundraising profile with setting up a social media profile. There are no long and complex forms to fill out; you just need to provide information about your project, upload your images and set your goal, and your page will be ready to go!

All in all, it takes around 10 minutes to be fully set up, minting NFTs and raising funds.

What are the options for my NFT uses?

Do people need crypto to create a campaign/invest?

The short answer is yes.

The long answer is that JumpStart is a cross-chain decentralized platform currently running on ETH, BSC, MATIC and CRO evm networks. This means you can choose which cryptocurrency and network you’d like to launch your campaign on.

If you want access to the largest liquidity in DeFi and integrations with top-tier platforms like OpenSea, launching on ETH or MATIC networks would be the ideal choice. If you are paving the way on BSC or CRO, you can also launch there. We are chain agnostic and will launch on any suitable evm chain with community support and liquidity!
